Orphan Ideas up for Adoption

Have you ever had this happen to you?

Brain: Here’s a fun new idea!
You: We literally don’t have time to do that.
Brain: … and another one!
You: You’ve got to give me more than two words. I don’t have the emotional space to sit down and build out an entire narrative.
Brain: And another one!
You: We have literally 24 hours in a day, there’s no time –

Essentially, I have a lot of ideas that I don’t think I will ever get around to. I don’t have the time, the expertise, or brain-beans to really devote myself to putting them into the world. Instead of abandoning them to the graveyard of my mind – or worse, half-assing them and not giving them the love and attention that they deserve – I am putting them up for adoption!

Below is a living document of dumb ideas that floated through my brain. Some are only a few words, others are concepts, others have a little bit of meat to their bones. All are free to a good home. Please take them and give them the love and attention that I cannot.

Note: This is a living document, as I said. You can bookmark this page and see if there are more in the future!

Also, I don’t know where these ideas came from. Some are definitely right out of my own brain. Some may be spliced up from other media, and others might be from other generators that I’ve forgotten about. Sometimes my brain will see something, ruminate on it, then spit out a riff or mod of the idea at a different time, so that I have no idea where the originary inspiration came from. Basically, I’m not setting out to intentionally plagiarise.

PS – I love writing and I love eating! If you want to help with the latter (and ONLY if you want) you can maybe buy me a coffee?  🙂
